Manager in Tokyo with Uber


Uber Eats Japan has been an extremely successful market, and we are looking for the Onboarding Manager who manages and integrates the Sales and Operation processes for efficient acquisitions of SMB and Enterprise restaurant & retail partners.

This role will be responsible for leading the whole onboarding processes.You will be:

  • Responsible for the initial critical customer experiences of the restaurant and retail partners which are contract closed until they start the first supply hours and first trips-the very exciting moment of truths for the restaurant and retail partners
  • An important cross-functional role to drive the process efficiencies of sales, restaurant operations, and external vendors
  • Manage the Contents team-accountable for menu collection, photography arrangement, bank information collection, business license collection, tablets logistics, etc.
  • Manage the Vendor Management team-accountable for photography vendors, tablet vendors, logistics vendors, EXT vendors, etc.
  • Manage the Account Specialist team-accountable for account creation of enterprise partners including log-in information management

What You’ll Do

  • Continuous sales process improvement for all onboarding processes with the balance of speed and quality for great onboarding experiences
  • Manage and motivate more than 30 EXTs of Contents team, Vendor Management team, and Account Specialist team
  • Closely work with SMB and enterprise Sales teams, by having good attention to details

  • Ideally, 3+ years work experience in sales organization
  • Strong understanding about restaurant and retail partners experience and demand
  • Good track record of leading large team
  • Evidence of successful complex stakeholder management including external business partners
  • Passion for continuous process improvement with attention to details
