Police have arrested a 38-year-old man they were with on suspicion of kidnapping a minor and are investigating the details.
Arrested was Suspect Otake, 38, of Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, who, according to police, is suspected of kidnapping a minor on the 2nd of this month for taking a 9-year-old fourth-grade elementary school girl who lived nearby in Aoba-ku, Yokohama City, in a car.
According to the investigation so far, the girl lost track of her whereabouts after playing with friends in a park near her home, and when the police investigated her whereabouts after receiving a report from her family, a security camera in the vicinity showed her walking with a man similar to Otake Suspect.
Then, around 3 a.m. on the 5th, when Otake was about to leave his home in Tokyo, he found a girl in his car.
According to the police, the girl is not injured.
In response to the investigation, Otake admitted to the charges, and the police are investigating the details.
