Police have not disclosed whether or not it was confirmed, but immediately after the incident, when Mr. Shinozawa called Tomomi’s father, who lives in another place, he said, “If I had a fight, I wouldn’t be able to move,” according to an interview with investigators.

According to the police, Tomomi used to live with her father in another house in Fukui City, but recently she was living with her father at suspect Shinozawa’s home.
