New President Kan’s Press Conference “Take the plunge and appoint people in my policy direction”

New President Kan’s Press Conference “Take the plunge and appoint people in my policy direction” September 14, 18:28

At a press conference at the party headquarters, the LDP’s new president, Kan, said at the outset, “I’ve been working on what’s wrong, one by one, while listening to the scene. Now that I am the president of the Liberal Democratic Party, if there is anything strange about it, I would like to thoroughly review it and move forward with this Country of Japan.”

“Vertically Divided Vested Interests: Overthrowing Unprecedentedism”

On top of that, he said, “I would like to firmly advance regulatory reform by overthrowing the vertical allocation of government offices, vested interests, and unprecedented principles. And I want to create a Cabinet that works for the people. We must put into practice the Corona Virus antivirus, which has been compiled under Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.”

“There is no evil of the faction at all”

While Kan was asked whether receiving support from five factions in the party would influence the intentions of the factions in the future, Kan said, “It is my job to break through vertical, vested interests, and bad preagalism, and there is no evil of the factions. I explained the policy and received a large number of votes today, so I think I have established an environment in which I can stabilize the politics that I aim for.”

Cabinet Policy “Take the plunge and appoint people in my policy direction”

Regarding the cabinet’s policy, Kan said, “From the policy of inheriting the Abe administration, it is said that it is a ‘cabinet without a living cabinet’ or a ‘small reshuffle’, but since the prime minister is going to replace him, I will take the plunge and appoint people in my policy direction. I’m sorry to the people if I don’t do my job. I would like to bring together people who are motivated to reform and can work to create a Cabinet that works for the people.”
