The Metropolitan Police Department has re-arrested a former female college student who was arrested for abandoning the body of a newborn baby in a park in central Tokyo for killing her by hanging herself shortly after giving birth. Re-arrested is Suspect Koy yuri Kitai, 23, a former female university student in Kobe City.

Kitai was arrested on the 1st of this month on suspicion of abandoning his body in a ward park in Minato Ward, Tokyo, and made a statement admitting the killing, saying that he “hanged himself because he couldn’t stop crying” in a subsequent investigation.
At the time, Kitai was looking for a job in Tokyo many times aiming to become a flight attendant for an airline company, and said, “I didn’t tell anyone about my pregnancy. I thought about raising a child as a single mother, but I thought it would affect job hunting.”
