International Skating Federation abandons next month’s figure GP in Beijing November 14 at 9:02 a.m.
The International Skating Federation announced today that it will abandon the 2022 Beijing Olympics test event in Beijing due to the new Coronavirus, including the Grand Prix Final of Figure Skating scheduled for next month.
According to the announcement of the International Skating Federation, the event in Beijing was abandoned at the Grand Prix Final of Figure Skating scheduled for next month, the World Cup on short tracks, and the World Speed Skating Championships in February next year.
Of these, the Grand Prix Final in Figure Skating and the World Speed Skating World Championships will be held outside of China as soon as possible.
The Grand Prix Final in Figure Skating is a competition in which the top-ranked players in the Grand Prix Series compete, but two of the six Grand Prix Series competitions have been canceled.
