- Optimize company-wide business architecture to maximize corporate value with long-term view for better customer experience, employee engagement and higher efficiency / effectiveness
- Support building mid-term strategy and identify key capabilities to be enhanced
- Design business architecture aligning with IT architecture and its roadmaps
- Clarify business requirements, analyze as-is pain points, design to-be business model and calculate business cases in terms of customer / producer experiences and internal operating models (eg, process, organization, technology)
- Support streamlining project portfolio considering engagement dependency and overlaps
- Lead and motivate project members consist of cross-functional departments for the successful project delivery
- Offer constructive ideas, influence and negotiates on high impact, high risk and highly complex situations
- Establish business architecture framework, tool, methodology, and develop / maintain business values and capabilities
- Support Lead Business Architect in the overall direction, guidance and definition of the business architecture to effectively support business strategy
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in related fields such as business architecture, enterprise architecture, strategy planning or business process re-engineering with the deep knowledge of those concepts and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience optimizing and simplifying complex business processes, technology and change programs across a complex organization
Skills:
- Communication and program management skills, and the ability to work effectively with IT management and staff
- Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve quality improvement
- Ability to work independently with flexibility and focus in a dynamic environment
Preferable:
- Extensive knowledge of systems architecture, process modeling and excellent analytical skills, consultative skills
- Analytic and strategic thinker capable of translating senior-level direction and corporate policies and procedures into structured, practical, efficient and effective business processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and related field experience required; Advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years professional experience, preferably within insurance, financial services or management consulting firms
Language: Language:
- Bilingual (expert level fluency) with English and Japanese
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Personality:
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with stakeholders from all levels
- Well organized with ability to lead others in a team environment
